Eagles Flying Over Mountains
Product of: Isle of Mull
My eagles flying over mountains pendant is made from pure silver. It was designed and handmade by me here on the beautiful Isle of Mull using recycled silver. My jewellery is inspired by the glorious natural environment I live in and the wildlife that surrounds me. Many visitors come to Mull to marvel at the eagles that patrol Mull’s vast skies. Both white tail and golden eagles make Mull their home giving rise to its other name ‘eagle island’. My aim is to capture an eagle’s majesty and beauty that the owner will be proud to wear.
This version of the pendant has a background of an eagle with mountains and a large sun, it features a bigger free hanging eagle ‘flying’ over the background. When watching an eagle I often wonder if there is a mate somewhere nearby and this piece captures the pair. From the Ross of Mull where I live there is a dominant pair of mountain peaks up the valley, Cruachan Dearg and Corra-bheinn are exactly the same height and they create a twin peak image captured in the pendant background.
It has a 2.6cm diameter, roughly the size of a 2 pence coin. It hangs on a sterling silver chain which can be 16″, 18″, 20″ or 22″in length. Each piece will be presented in a blue box embossed with ‘Drift’ and wrapped up as a gift.
There is also a pair of eagle earrings that you can buy to match your pendant.
All my jewellery items are handmade so each piece bears its own unique character.
Your jewellery will be dispatched to you within 3 working days, often sooner but also depending on ferries!
Postage to the UK is free. It will be mailed using the Royal Mail Tracked service.

Drift Designs Mull
Hi, I’m Lynn and I have the great fortune of living in Mull. My handmade silver jewellery designs and wall art are all inspired by the fabulous environment of the island. I aspire to incorporate the amazing wildlife, stunning scenery, beautiful beaches and a Celtic heritage into my designs. My aim is to make beautiful pieces of treasure that encapsulate a visitor’s memories and reminds them of the wildlife they saw, the beaches they wandered or the history they explored.
Every item is designed and handmade by me and bears its own unique character. Each otter, eagle, seal or hare is lovingly made to capture the beauty and behaviour of the animal. The shells are incorporated with beads to capture the stunning blues, greens and turquoises of the sea. The Celtic patterns reflect the human influence on the island.
‘Drift’ makes me think of lapping waves on a tranquil beach, a gentle breeze through long grass, drifting in and out of sleep on a warm summer day, driftwood left on a beach by the sea, drifting along on a holiday – all things that make me feel calm, relaxed and contented.
