Aurora borealis (or Mirrie dancers as we call it in Shetland) inspires this jewellery collection
I have made these heart earrings using epoxy resin, with green glow in the dark, metallic pigments, sparkle and imagination. The ear wire is hallmarked sterling silver and the aurora is set into a steel base.
The heart measures – 2cm overall drop – 4cm
Please note I make aurora pendants and brooches in heart shapes too and offer a gift set, which is great value.
These earrings come in a gift box.
Living in the Shetland islands we are spoilt with beautiful night skies!
I have included glow in the dark pigments when designing these earrings. Each pair is original, with a steel back and sterling silver ear hook.
They come in a satin gift pouch with info/care card and make a perfect gift.

Working from her studio in Scalloway where visitors are welcome, situated on a steep hillside overlooking the Scalloway castle and islands beyond it is a stunning location.
Sarah designed and built a garden from a piece of scrap ground outside her house, on a steep slope starting in 2009. Within 3 years the garden won an environmental award for the use of recycling and is also open to the public to visit while raising money for charity as past of Scotland gardens scheme.
