The colour of the individual threads making up the tweed is visible and very attractive. The coaster is sturdy yet lightweight so ideal for posting as a gift.
I chose the square coasters, and they have already been the base for many mugs of coffee. The palette of the coasters is so natural - hardwood brown with a splash of auburn. Very pleased.

The various shades of blue show up more predominantly when you look at the tweed, from royal to deep sky blue with dark navy check on a background of various shades of grey, just beautiful
Beautifully finely woven Harris tweed arrived promptly this morning.
It’s difficult to capture on camera but the actual tweed is a kaleidoscope of colours ranging from brown, purple, deep red, shades of green and even blue, the rich tones and hews match the ever changing colours of the Harris landscape.
